I'll bet nobody is dumb enough to try to download a >4GB file using WinSCP. I could try it again, but it would give the same results (after 2 days of downloading with lots of resumes)... can you please check this?

SFTP with a LOT of resumes, since my connection kept falling. Definitely binary transfer picked explicitly.

This is the FC2-DVD.iso that I downloaded using a very fast Internet connection on a remote Linux machine, verified that the md5sum passed and then connected from my home machine running Windows XP to the Linux machine. Using the same file from the Linux machine, carving it up into 6 pieces using split, burning these pieces onto CD-rom, copying them to a directory under Cygwin, using cat * >FC2-DVD.iso gives me a file that ALSO passes the md5sum. I think it has got to be WinSCP3, no?

It should be possible to transfer files >4GB.

What protocol do you use, SCP or SFTP? Have you used binary transfer mode?

Trying to transfer a file >4GB on XP SP1, fully updated created a file on the target that failed the same MD5 checksum that it passed on the host.
